Sunshine Kids is now Diono!

You might have seen previous posts for Sunshine Kids Car Seats (Radian XTSL) on my blog in the past. Well, Sunshine Kids has changed their name to Diono and I am happy to tell you that their seats are still the best I've found.

I don't know about you, but I am tired of buying things that are only good for a few years and need to be replaced once my child grows out of it. The RadianRXT isn't just your ordinary car seat - it is a convertible and booster seat and can be used from 5 to 120 pounds. It is also rear-facing to 45 pounds which is the highest available.









The video above covers all the important features of the RadianRXT but let me share a story that I think all parents can relate to. Within a few days of beginning to use our new Diono seat, Jake got sick in the car - all over the new, beautiful seat! While we most likely (and thankfully) won't ever experience all the safety features of our car seats, we will undoubtedly learn how easy (or hard) a seat is to clean.

All of our Diono car seats have been "tested" in this way and all of them have been very easy to clean.  My boys are also notorious for their ability to spill everything that they eat or drink and the fabric honestly still looks like new.  The RadianRXT has amazing features but Jake's favorite? That would be the cup holder. It's been helpful for me too as now there are less liquid spills to clean up.

My absolute favorite feature is how low the seat sits while in the car. This makes it so much easier to get the kids in and out of the car. I am pretty short and have a large SUV. Every time I put my boys in their seats I am so thankful for this design. Another plus to the low seats is that the boys can reach items that they may have dropped or need on the seat next to them. This is especially helpful when I am taking the kids out by myself. Who has the time to pull over to retrieve something every time they simply have to have that toy/blanket/book?
