Take Me Back Tuesday - December 2008

How do you play along? We all have tons of photos from the days before the digital camera. I figure if I just scan a few each week, eventually I will get them all safely into my computer. But you don't need a scanner to participate - Just find a photo that takes you back to another time.
Every week you can come back here and share photos that "take you back." Maybe it is the bad hair we all had in the 80's or the bell-bottoms you swore were so hip in the 70's.
If you decide to participate, sign the Linky below and I promise to head on over and spread some comment love your way!

Since I just posted pictures of our first big snow storm, I decided to look back at last year's snow pictures to ready myself for what is in store (this is only our second year living up here). I will admit it looks pretty, but it keeps me holed up until it begins to go away since I don't drive in the snow.
You really can't appreciate just how high the snow is from this picture. I remember not being able to see cars as they drove by the house, the berm was so high.

It looks like a picture that should go on a Christmas card! And it also looks similar to our front yard right now! I hate having to drive in the snow too, but we bough a little 4 wheel drive tracker last year so that helps some!

Isn't snow just beautiful?...If you don't have to drive in it? I was inspired and posted a snow photo too.

I LOVED driving up to the mountains to play in the snow when we lived in CA.

One of the reasons we chose TN when we moved was because they get some snow here....we love to watch it fall & I LOVE that it usually melts away within a day or two.

So pretty! I love the style of your house too. Boy, I bet you really have to plan ahead and stock up with food and provisions since you can't just run out to the store if you need something. Must take alot of planning. Thanks for sharing! :)

That would be why you couldn't come visit me when Harrison was born. :-) Stay warm. Hope you make it this weekend.

It really IS beautiful - but being snowed in would be a big drag for me too. Hmph.

It can't get any better than this.

It's beautiful to look at but I am sure very difficult to get around. Especially for short people like me. You would not find me until the thaw.
