How do you play along?
We all have tons of photos from the days before the digital camera. I figure if I just scan a few each week, eventually I will get them all safely into my computer. But you don't need a scanner to participate - Just find a photo that takes you back to another time.
Every week you can come back here and share photos that "take you back." Maybe it is the bad hair we all had in the 80's or the bell-bottoms you swore were so hip in the 70's.

It cracks me up when I go visiting people with my 2 little boys and each person has a different idea as to whom my kids resemble. "Luke looks just like your husband!" and then moments later, "Luke looks just like you!" I think I am going to give up trying to figure it out because...
In this picture my husband looks just like Luke.
And here, my husband looks just like Jake.Basically I guess both kids look like my husband which is a good thing I guess.
Considering I am a girl and I want my kids to look like boys.
I am funny that way.

haha. Both my kids seem to look like their dad too but I would like some features to be reflected and not just that they inherited my funky pinky toe.
We get the same thing with the two boys though, some folks just comment but I can't seem to tell.

Aww...What cute pictures! You can see the boys in him for sure! We have the same problem with my son! Everyone says he looks like hubby, but I see a lot of me in him! Then one of our Aunts says he looks like another uncle. I have given up and say he just looks like himself.

Awww, he does look just like both of your adorable little boys! People have always said that our oldest looks just like his Dad & our 2nd son resembles me....well, now that they are grown, our oldest is a CLONE of his father at that age, but our 2nd son only has a few of my features & mostly looks like both his brothers. Our oldest daughter may end up looking very much like me & I'm ok with that.

Alan looks oddly Asian in that second photo LOL. It's not coincidental that younger children resemble their fathers, at least initially - Mother Nature's little insurance plan, I think, at least pre-DNA testing availability!
My son looks like me with his father's caucasian coloring; my daughter looks like her dad but with my Asian coloring. Perfect blends, the both of 'em! Ditto that to Nathan, Luke & Jake.

I guess it just depends on who your boys are with. The power of suggestion. (I think that's what it's called.) I don't really have that problem. I think my boys definitely look like me. People probably think my husband is babysitting when I'm not with them. LOL!

I get it from both sides-I've heard I look like my mum AND my dad.
I have seen pictures of my mum at my age and I actually thought it was a picture of me!! It was incredible O.o
So who does your oldest son look like?
My kids look like both my husband and I. It depends who you ask sometimes.
