The funny thing about blogging is that you slowly but surely begin to air all of your dirty laundry. So, I have outed my shoe fetish and now I am going to share another fetish - bags. Now, I have reviewed a few reusable bags up to this point but that is just the tip of the iceberg. From tote bags, purses, carry-alls - I love them all. I have just added a favorite brand to my collection, O Yikes!

Many of you may know of O Yikes! for their great "on-the-go" diaper bags. O Yikes! products are designed for active people on the go and are created as standalone products with a focus on staying organized. This great company really is about making life easier for those of you like me who are always running from one place to the next. At one moment you need a diaper bag, then a purse, then something in-between. I received the 24.7 Tangerine Raspberry Slingback, named the 24.7 because the job of parenthood is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.. I absolutely love the single strap - it frees up my arms and hands for my 3 kids, 2 of which still need to be carried. This is my all in one bag because I simply do not have time to fumble with more than one bag & I refuse to use a bag that looks like a diaper bag and screams "I am a mommy." There is enough about me that conveys that, trust me!

The 24.7 includes matching accessories specifically geared toward parenthood. The matching accessories include; insulated cylinder case, accessory case, changing pad, and wipes case. They also offer an optional matching laptop sleeve for, I don't know, maybe a review blogger? On the strap is a pocket for your cell phone, PDA or iPod, the front pocket is generous in size and fits the changing pad and diapers easily. The larger pocket has a 2 large zippered pocket and a carabiner that I use for my keys which always get lost at the bottom of my bag. The material is sturdy and easily cleaned. I get compliments everywhere I go!

I have found that the accessories are incredibly handy - the accessory case (small square) holds jarred baby food and spoons easily in their mesh internal zippered pockets. I love that if they happen to leak, that they are contained. One of my favorite accessories is the changing pad (seen at right). It is sturdy, water-resistant and folds up compactly and securely with a velcro closure. I often grab it to use at home.
